The Beer Authority is one of the 4 spots to host 12 Beers of X Mas

The BA starting Sunday Dec 1st will be featuring Big Sky Powderhound Winter Ale, Eel River Climax Noel and No Li Winter Warmer for the 12 days all three beers will be on tap.  On Dec 2nd No Li will be in the house with a cask of Dry Hopped Winter Warmer to help cheer on the HAWKS for MNF.  Dec 4th Big Sky will be tapping a special keg of Ivan the Terrible Bourbon Barrel aged Imperial Stout, alongside the Powderhound.  On Dec 11th Wed. Eel River will be hosting a Brewer's Night from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM with 3 other beers on tap, besides  Climax Noel.  Hoppy Holidays from the BA staff!!  Cheers Burc

Burctoberfest or IPA Fest 9 IPA's on tap

That's right Hop Heads!  9 IPA's on tap for 4 Days!  Starting Friday the 25th we will have 9 IPA's on tap for your enjoyment!  We will offer 6 oz tasters so you can try multiple IPAs.  Cheers Burc

Burctober 1st the Beer Authority is Celebrating 2years

That's right Burctober 1st Tuesday I am celebrating 2 years of being the majority owner of the Beer Authority.  I will have special beers on tap for the event and be opening some very special bottles for the event and celebrate 2 amazing years of business.  Plus I have something very special for food this year!  Thanks again for all the support and look forward to many more years of serving you wonderful peeps!  Cheers Burc

Sunday NFL at the Beer Authority Open 9:45 AM

Starting Sunday September 8th the Beer Authority will open at 9:45 AM for NFL Football Games.  First Seahawks game of the 2013 Season is on the road in Carolina vs the Panthers! BYOB bring your own Breakfast.  Go HAWKS!!!

Closed Saturday August 3rd for Private Party

5/9 Seattle Beer Week 5 Kicks off with Special Beers on tap

On the opening of Seattle Beer Week the Beer Authority has two fun things to share with you; First is we will be supporting Seattle Beer Week by only pouring Seattle or WA breweries for the first 4 Days of Beer Week.  I have cellared some very special beers for us to enjoy, Fremont B Bomb, Black Raven Grandfather Raven, Hales Barrel Aged Imperial Stout and I was lucky to blend an IPA with Big Time.  Second we will host our 2nd Annual Golf Tourney the Nine on the 9th with your 9 Iron, we still have some spots available but it will start at 5:45 at Jackson Park Short Nine, $20 gets you golf, sleeve of Beer Authority Balls and a beer back at the BA afterwards.  Plus prizes for KP and best and worst score.  Cheers Burc

3/24 Sunday Cribbage Tourney

This coming Sunday at 2 PM the Beer Authority will be hosting a Cribbage Tourney with a $5 buy in and added $50 Gift Card.  The format is Double Elimination and muggins, if you miss points your opponent can claim them and if you miss move your pegs in counting points you lose them.  If you have a cribbage board please bring it, because I only have about 6 here currently.  Good Luck and Cheers Burc

We have moved into a bigger location. . . . .

The Beer Authority has moved into a bigger space literally 30 feet North of the old location, in Lake City.  Besides increasing our tap selection to 13 rotating taps, which one of those taps is a Nitro tap we now have 3 times the seating capacity at the bar and in the location.  We still have a ton of work to do,but it is definitely worth a stop next time you are in Lake City to check out!  Hope to see you soon and Cheers Burc

7 Seas Rude Parrot Launch Party

1/22nd Tuesday night at 7 PM, 7 Seas will be here to launch their newest addition Rude Parrot to their lineup of Washington's first craft beer in a can.  Come on down and meet one of "All about BEER" under 30 Brewer's Travis, plus Mike and Bryan.  We will have 3 beers on tap and specials on cans and growlers to go, always a great time with the 7 Seas crew, so hope to see you next Tuesday!
